Backing up the foreclosure pipeline or embracing the market?

The Governments policy of record seems to be to interfere in any way possible with the foreclosure process. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Are we really helping people with these policies? But now, the administration is sounding like they want to embrace more of a market solution... which is almost exactly the opposite of what they have been doing. Lets talk about what makes sense.
