Chronic conditions are common in our society today, with diabetes, cancer and heart conditions (including high blood pressure) a part of many's lives. Then, there's also the more "stigmatized" conditions like epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and depression in which women are singled out for having them. Unlike the joys associated with merely surviving a serious condition, living day in and day out with a life changing condition requires special attention, skill, and a new way of seeing life.
Join Kelley Connors, MPH, Women's Wellness Advocate, with members of the Real Women on Health community who have raised their hands and decided to share their story living well with a chronic condition.
