When people are in a crisis, where they are considering taking their own lives, it's critical that they reach out to a resource such as a suicide hotline a support network which includes a therapist or a friend with a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. However, many people are scared of calling a suicide hotline or reaching out as they aren't sure what will happen if they let someone in on what's going on in their mind. We want you to know that you are not alone. Everyone experiences stress at some point in their lives that shows up as anxiety and depression. Today we invite you to listen in and add to the discussion as we discuss with Cherie Dortch Clincal Social Worker as she helps us learn the warning signs and how we can help take action in alignment with preventing suicide.
