Made New In Christ

2 Cor 5:17 says Therefore, if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come, the old has gone the new is here! What a very encouraging verse, for it speaks of our position rather than a feeling,  as a new vessel ready to live for Christ. So if were made new as children of the most High, why do we still find ourselves struggling with sin and its consequences? Well,  we still have this flesh to deal with, and God never said it would be easy but He did say he'd make us a way of escape. At this point its our faith in God we must rely on. To know and truly believe that He has cleansed us  of our sin and made us whole. Satan would want us to become discouraged , depressed and seek to give up hope that we will never be able to escape our past addictions and difficulties with sin. He tells us we've really never changed, your marriage wont make it and your gonna struggle with the same sin and never be free. All lies to distract you from your full potential in Christ, praise be to God the Father who is our advocate , protector and defender drawing us closer to Himself and in the process becoming made new.
