Girlology offers a fresh, unique approach: a forum for exploring questions and issues about sexual development and maturity in a fun, engaging and cringe-free way. Our interactive classes present age-appropriate, medically accurate information for parents, adults and girls, ages 8-15. Once armed with accurate information and more comfortable engaging in conversations about their changing selves, girls better understand their bodies and feel empowered to make healthy decisions. As medical professionals, Moms and girls, ourselves, we want kids and parents to be comfortable with their bodies and have the vocabulary for talking about its changes and functions. By providing accurate information and facilitating real-world communication, healthy conversations between parent and child can begin – and with care, build a lifetime of open dialogue and strong relationships.
