If you are like me, then you caught the season premiere of “Get Married” this morning on WEtv. The one thing I loved the most out of the show was the table scape Michelle created. The peacock feathers she incorporated were amazing. I’m in love with peacock feathers right now, so this is def. something I could consider doing. The ideas about the lighting and mirrors were wondreful. It helped me think of ideas, I would have never thought of otherwise. The memorial frames are great ideas to me, because both of us have lost grandparents that are really important to us within the last year, so I’m glad Michelle did this, because it’s important that I find a way to honor them. Mary Guiliana showed an awesome way to present foods during the cocktail/appetizer hour. The mini grilled cheeses were to die for. As for the chicken/beef tacos with the mini chilled margaritas–don’t get me started!! The mini food/drink ideas are wonderful and to me they are different: I just want to know where you would get the mini champagne glasses if I planned on doing this myself. The fact that the mini foods were designed to keep guest on their feet and the party moving were great ideas, especially since I’m not one for a dull party. I’m glad Stacy was a fun bride, Mary provided a lot of great ideas that any bride could use. Since I am a DIY bride, this would be an easy idea to convey to my small gathering of 75 ppl. P.S. Did anyone see the cereal bar at Jason Biggs(American Pie) wedding? That rice crispy treat wedding cake, was so much fun (bridal shower idea maybe?).
