Jeanette's Autism Show is a place for discussions around all things Autism, from advocacy, to parenting, employment, love and relationships, books and conferences, sensory issues, anxiety and education and everything else in between. The show is hosted by Autistic author, advocate, artist and Government official Jeanette Purkis. Jeanette has guests form all walks of life who have something interesting and helpful to say about the issues faced by Autistic folks and their families. As this show is pre-recorded, you cannot access the chat room. She has over a decade of experience teaching children on the autistic spectrum. Adele has a regular two-page feature in Teach Early Years magazine and shares her knowledge of special education needs through 'A Special Blog' (http://www.senassist.com/blog/). She is the author of 'Colour Coding for Learners with Autism' and 'Literacy for Visual Learners'. Her third book will be published in 2016. In 2010, she co-founded the multi-award winning SEN Assist autism software with her husband. They have three children and live in Surrey, UK.
