The U.S. Supreme Court denied the writ of Certiori filed by the state Arizona court resulting in a final rulings which affirmed a Court of Appeals ruling ordering Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmott to return the medical marijuana he seized from Valerie Okun, a California medical marijuana patient visiting Arizona. The Sheriff ignored the fact that Arizona law has reciprocity, i.e. they honor card holding medical marijuana patients from other states.
Attorney Dan Grow, Medical Marihuana Attorney and the attorney representing Jeffery Miller in his Court Room challenges arguing entrapment, will be joining us to talk about the recent Michigan Supreme Court denial of Jeffery Miller’s Application for Leave to Appeal, leaving undisturbed the trial court’s opinion denying him all of his medical marihuana defenses at trial. Miller appeal’s stem from allegations of the illegal delivery of marihuana resulting from an undercover cop entrapping him, pretending to be a suffering patient with no access to marihuana. The officer tricked Miller to sell him marihuana after showing him a forged patient card and a matching driver’s license.
