NEXT on  CLASSROOM DNA with Phyllis Austin 2/21/15:  RTI: Your School’s 3-4 Step Process to Better Grades & Behavior…

What you need to know about Response to Intervention (RTI) and how to successfully use it for better performance and behavior.

Response to Intervention is your School’s 3-4 Step Process to Better Grades & Behavior.

Not to mention, it is a required process (by the majority of states) directed towards preventing failure and consecutive disciplinary infractions and consequences.

However, most parents don’t know about it.  Many teachers never heard of it.  Numerous schools don’t use it.  In addition, in every case that The National Parent Education Center has encountered, the use of RTI was implemented incorrectly.

And because of this, countless numbers of students unnecessarily fail, have poor performance and receive unjust disciplinary referrals.
