Even all of our Founding Fathers were Christians!  The nation was formed on Christianity.  Well, that's not exactly true.  Our Founding Fathers were mostly Christian...that is except for George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, and James Madison...They were all Deists or Unitarians, meaning those people believed in God, but didn't believe in Christianity.  Much like our Founding Fathers, I believe you should have the right to choose in what you believe in.  If you believe that I am wrong in this statement, ask yourself, "If the Founding Fathers started the United States as a Christian nation, why did they purposefully leave it out of the Bill of Rights?  The First Amendment clearly reads:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
~First Amendment, Bill of Rights of the Constitution

No where does it say that "Congress shall make a law respecting Christianity and shall not prohibit the free exercise thereof.”  Ponder on that one a bit...
