Part 1- Is it necessary for a man & woman to be equally successful, professionally in order to have a successful relationship?

Part 2-Should marriage be a termed contract?  Would it be much less complex if marriage was for specific time and responsibilities were spelled out?  Would more people accept these terms as opposed to the traditional "permanent" marriage?
