The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT).
Before Thanksgiving we talked about about the challenges of enabling a talent management strategy with technology, and this week we’re going to talk about the future of the employee-employer relationship — and celebrate the TalentCulture #TChat Show’s 4-year anniversary!
We keep talking incessantly about how bad the relationship is between employees and employers. Yes, we get it. It’s bad.
But even with the limited solutions that are offered today in the world of work, none has been actionable enough; we just keep playing misery shuffleboard.
Our guests this week argue that the key driver of organizational sustainability is the strength of the social contract that develops between an employer and its employees. And the fact that companies can and should recruit, manage, and retain entrepreneurial employees who will make them adaptive and innovative.
Oh, and it’s the TalentCulture #TChat Show’s 4-year anniversary!
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn about the future of the employee-employer relationship with this week’s guests: Marla Gottschalk, Ph.D., Industrial & Organizational Psychologist and Director of Thought Leadership at Kilberry Leadership Advisors; and Chip Joyce, CEO and Co-founder of Allied Talent.
Thank you to our sponsors and partners: Dice, Hootsuite, SAP/SuccessFactors, GreatRated! of Great Place to Work, IBM Smarter Workforce, CareerBuilder, PeopleFluent, Fisher Vista and HRmarketer Insight.

I am sure that some of you will agree that if we can write up our likes and dislikes on a relationship and have a partner sign up on it that it will be easier to deal with a relationship. Do you think so? We are going to talk about this article that this gentleman wrote in regards to actually writing up a contract that consists of expectations and favors. He figured men need to find ways of ensuring their happiness. Knowing that at the point that a relationship doesn"t work out the man is almost always the bad guy and almost always experiences the biggest losses; some type of correction is needed.
You will find the complete article on our facebook page No Filters. OR you can all just log in to Blog talk radio and join us tonight at 8pm. Brianna and Annaliza already disagreeing on the issue so it will be really interesting. Let's do this!!!!
How can an educational system even consider asking a 5 yr old to sign a suicide/safety contract. Excerpt from Al.com:
The school counselor used the system-wide safety protocol that school system officials were instructed to use in any situation in which "a student indicates they may be considering any actions such as hurting themselves or hurting someone else," she said. "Unfortunately, with this incident, the one size fits all."
This is the problem with schools all over the country today. There is a "one size fits all mentality" and it is causing havoc because Common Sense has left with the new age of the Common Core Standards Initiative. Come and hear more about what is behind this story and it's time to study what's being planned in the field of Counseling.
