Everyone want s to see symptoms reversed now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Now. The model we have been taught to believe in is the following:

  1. Make an appointment with the doctor.
  2. Get a prescription for medicine or surgery.
  3. Celebrate a reversal of symptoms.

The focus is on a treatment of symptoms, not on exploring the possible cause (or causes) of symptoms. We should all be thankful that the option of treating symptoms is available for Parkinson's Disease. It has helped many people. Not everyone benefits however. Some people experience little or no relief from taking medications for Parkinson's or pursuing surgery.

On this show I disuss the choice between treating symptoms and exploring the cause of Parkinson's symptoms. Which is the better choice? It depends of course. Listen to my show to know why. I also answer questions submitted by listeners.
