Listen to the Sat. Feb. 13, 2021 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program highlights a PANW report with dispatches on the nomination of Fela Kuti of Nigeria to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the United States; Zimbabwe is scheduled to begin a vaccination distribution program in efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19; the East African state of Kenya has expressed concern over the possible threat of new variants of the coronavirus inside the country; and the Mozambique military is saying progress is being made in ending the insurgency in the northern energy-rich province of Cabo Delgado. In the second hour we listen to an important briefing from the World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus from Geneva. Finally, we continue our recognition of African American History Month with a rare archival interview with artist and social scientist Paul Robeson.
