Listen to the Sun. April 5, 2020 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our PANW report with dispatches on the response of the African Union (AU) to the COVID-19 pandemic; a women's alliance in Zimbabwe is working with the government to combat the spread of COVID-19; the Chinese government says that western imperialist states should cease their racist characterizations related to the global pandemic; and the United States economy is facing the potential of a sustained financial depression. In the second and third hours we continue the coverage of AU member-states in the battle against the pandemic examining events in Kenya and South Africa. Finally we look back on the aftermath of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 52 years ago in 1968.
