SCA is characterized by episodes of pain, chronic hemolytic anemia and severe infections, usually beginning in early childhood. Join us as we speak with Sis. Shirley Miller, a representative of The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America Inc., to enlighten us ALL to this affliction affecting SO many of our people throughout the diaspora.
