PATTI ROBERTSON Patti is a true entrepreneur. She had her husband own 8 Great Clips hair salons, 5 Jackson Hewitt Tax Service retail locations, and HomeVestors (We Buy Ugly Houses) franchise. In 2007 they added the HomeVestors to their business assets, primarily because they wanted to build a rental portfolio. What they found is that the HomeVestors brand brings them more deals than they can afford to keep on their own, so they rehab a few and wholesale everything else to other investors who are landlords or are rehabbing and retailing.
