Within days of the streetside execution of Michael Brown, Missouri teenager, by a police officer, Twitter presence @FeministaJones was calling for a national moment of silence in memory of Brown and all the other victims of police brutality and violence in America. Organizers independently stepped up in cities across America--in DC Lesli Lewis was one of those organiers.
