"...Even if a Black Slave is in authority over you" - with Imam Na'eem Abdullah

It has been narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Malik on the authority of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace who said, “Hear and obey even if there is placed over you and Ethiopian (habashi), whose head is like a dried raisin.” - This has been related by Imam al-Bukhari in his Sahih.

Imam Na'eem Abdullah will lead the discussion based upon this hadith. We intend to begin by clarifying the meaning of this hadith based upon classical Islamic sources and then discuss black leadership in the Muslim community (or the lack thereof).
