The Declaration of the Brothers (Watheeqah al-Ikhwaan) is a short, consise, yet comphensive book written by Shehu 'Uthman Dan Fodiyo (may Allah envelop him in His mercy). The importance of this text is indicated in its introduction wherein he states:

"This is The Declaration of the Brothers (Watheeqah al-Ikhwaan) for the Purpose of Expounding on the Proofs for the Obligation to Follow the Book, the Sunnah, & the Consensus (ijmaa’). As well as the Proofs for avoiding Innovation for whoever considers Islam as his religion, and the proof of kufr (disbelief) for whoever denies that; even if he considers Islam as his Religion."

The Shehu elaborates on a wide range of topics which are just as relevant today as they were when he composed this text over 200 years ago!

This blessed text will be taught by Imam Na’eem Abdullah.

His studies & lectures have also taken him throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Sudan.

The Imam has authored several books, namely: [1] Our Roots (originally published under a different title, with intentions to re-release sometime in 1435/2014); [2] 5 Important Points Regarding Seeking Knowledge; [3] Princes Among Slaves; [4] The Dangers of Birthday Celebrations; [5] Children: The Contemporary Cash Cow; [6] 40 Hadith About Reviving the Jamaa’ah: The Islamic Community; [7] My Brother’s Keeper (co-authored with Amir Khalil Abdullahi); & [8] The Book of Important Points: Part #1 (Imam Na’eem was a contributing writer).  In addition to these writings, he has authored several articles.
