Respecting Leadership in the Church

Facing Your Fears Radio Talk Show with Host Evangelist Dr Norma Chapman and Co-Host Apostle Doris Smith along with Evangelist Jerrie Perkins will be discussing how important it is for us to obey those that have authority in leadership. Many scriptures are in the Holy Bible that tells us about those who has authority over God's church and the sheeps that are under their authority. We first must recognize and know who gives these leaders that authority and why they are instructed to lead in that capacity. God gives them the authority to have authority over the church, we must obey those according to the scriptures in the book of Romans 13: 1- 14, 1 Thessalonians 5: 12-14. It tells us to respect and obey those who have authority and " let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God". It also tells us to respect those who labor among you and over you in the Lord and admonish you, and esteem them very highly in love because of their work".
