"Centered Living" - (It's All About Identity) #508

Do you know what happens when we do not live our life with a sense of "Centered Living?"  Generally, not much because we lack an identity which can lead to what we would consider a worthy destination. 

On the other hand, do you know what happens when our identity is based upon our behavior, performance, wealth, achievements, etc.?  We begin to compare and judge others and we compare and judge our self with our self and our self with others.  Usually, this does not have a good outcome either.  For example, we tend to either come up short or the other person will.  This is "Less Than" living at its best. 

But something else tends to happen as well, especially for the person who tends to be emotionally driven and truly wants to help others in life.  We begin to help and/or intercede in or for that person in some way based on our own sympathies, thoughts, experiences, ideas, and interests verses God's interests in that person's life.  All of this is usually very disappointing, the results of which can even be devastating.
