"Freedom always come at a price.  vicgtory has a cost to it, a cost that must be paid before it can be truly experienced.  In the case of our spiritual life, our life with Christ, there is a price to pay as well. 

Jesus paid the price for our sins by dying for us thereby creating the opportunity to experience eternal life with Him.  The time between our salvation experience and our physical death when we experience eternal life in the greater dimension can be a rough time.  During that time (called sanctification) is a time when we are to experience our co-crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection WITH Christ (Romans 6.1-7ff and other Scriptures). 

Yes, this can be a difficult time because the self-life which has guided us most of our lives, does not want to die but to live and continue controlling us.  It will do anything to survive.  But God, in His love and mercy, walks us through the path of death, that we might experience a life of tremendous victory with Christ.  This study looks at that process
