"Intimacy With God" (Centering Prayer-Intro) #453; 4.26.13

Spirituality is made real when we experience a close relationship with God.  In our study, "Intimacy With God", we move to eliminate the separation between theology and spirituality, between doctrine and practice.  For the next few weeks, we will look at an introduction to "Contemplative" or "Centering" Prayer and its impact on Christians for the past two-thousand years.  The participation in Christian meditation or Contemplative/ Centering Prayer is a calling to those who have been seeking a deeper relationship with The Lord.  The lack of satisfaction or contententment in life may be the clarion call to all who truly want to experience finding God.  Succeeding studies will lead participants in a methodology of Centering Prayer and guidance into a lifetime of walking in and with the Lord.
