Minutes after the 9/11 attacks, planes in the air were ordered to land at the nearest available airport. Fifty-seven of them landed in tiny Gander, Newfoundland, where the townspeople gave them food and shelter for five days. Among the pilots was Beverley Bass, whose experiences have been recaptured in the hit Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY. Captain Bass will be the guest on March 1 at 8p EST, when she will be interviewed by Dan Schlossberg and Maggie Linton about her career and her unexpected twist of fate.
