Join Dr. Stephen Mathis, a.k.a. "The Rock and Roll Shrink," and co-host/facilitator Casey Shapiro, for a bi-weekly discussion of both mental health and "metal health" topics.

The show will run bi-weekly for an hour. The first half-hour will be Dr. Mathis opining about various mental health topics, interspersed with anecdotes and trivia about classic rock music. The second half-hour of the show, Dr. Mathis will take phone calls from listeners on any matters of mental health or even classic rock topics they may wish to discuss with him!

Our second episode topic is The Cult of Celebrity, where Dr. Mathis will give his insight into the psychology of why people are drawn to both famous and infamous people, to the point of hero worship and obsession.

During the call-in segment, callers and chat room participants are welcome to discuss their own celebrity experiences and opinions, or related mental health issues. Questions about why we treat celebrities so differently, what it can be like to be the celebrity target, and other topics may be covered.
