Toxic Chemicals in Personal Care Products and How to Find Safer Alternatives

Stacy Malkan is author of the award-winning book, "Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry," and she is a co-founder of the national Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a national coalition of non-profit health and environmental groups that are working to give the beauty industry a safety makeover. The campaign recently launched a film, The Story of Cosmetics with Annie Leonard, and is also celebrating the recent introduction of the Safe Cosmetics Act of 2010 which was introduced into the U.S. House of Represenatives on July 20.
