Washington Nationals' starter Max Scherzer dominated an overmatched New York Mets' lineup and the Nats cruised to a 4-2 win and a sweep of the three-game set with their divisional rivals. After four straight wins, the Nationals were 47-32 on the year and they have a 6.0 game lead over the 3rd place Mets and 5.5 game lead over the Miami Marlins heading into the four-game long weekend set with the Cincinnati Reds that starts at 7:05 PM EDT tomorrow night in D.C.
