Obadia 1:3-4  The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, Whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
4  Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.  Precepts to Obadia 1:3: -2 Kings 14:7  He slew of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
2 Chronicles 25:12  And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces. Isaiah 14:13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Revelation 18:7  How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

Precepts to Obadia 1:4:
Job 20:6  Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;

Isaiah 14:14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Jeremiah 49:16  Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.
