The dates of July 1, 2 and 3, 1863 remain in American History as the bloodiest battle to take place in any war in the history of our country. While the number of engagements, over 2,000, was epic, it was the number of people (over 60,000) who died in the battle which changed the tide of the war, putting Gettysburg, PA, on the map and in the pages of history books. According to the website http://americancivilwar.com, "Here at Gettysburg, on July 1, 2, and 3, 1863, more men fought and died than in any other battle in American history." The belief in the paranormal world is that a violent death leaves behind the ghost of the person who died. Because of this belief, Gettysburg is often called one of the most haunted places in the country. Countless investigations seem to bear this out. Spend an hour with me as I talk to Ken, one of the guides of the Sleepy Hollow of Gettysburg Ghost Tours. Ken brings to the discussion a background as a retired NYC Fire Chief and history teacher. To learn more about Ken, please visit the website http://www.sleepyhollowofgettysburg.com/ken.htm Voted the best ghost tour in Gettysburg, PA, this is a show you won't want to miss! The show time is now FIRM and is 7:00 AM PST/10:00 AM EST. Mark your calendars now!
