Tonight's special guest is Kym Harmony Tracy from Robinson, Illinois, a survivor and activist and an Inspirational Christian speaker. "For most of my life I've have heard, 'but you seem so normal.' Well, I'm far from normal. As a matter of fact, I call my life a beautiful mess," says Kym. "I have experienced many things from most all forms of [sexual] mental, physical and emotional abuse as well as divorce and dysfunctional relationships." She relates that she was in the second grade when she was first molested in the home of a friendly older grandparent-like couple in her neighborhood. At 9 she was abused by a babysitter she'd come to love. "The most troubling part of this molestation was she got her boyfriend involved, writes Kym. "They would either take turns with me or it would be a 2 on 1 event. I never told due to threats." Later, at 16, she was date raped by her boyfriend, "A rape he told me later he so enjoyed because he stole my virginity." She continues, "Now at nearly 50 years young I can still recall every detail of the experience with each of my monsters." As an adult, Kym was deeply troubled be her experiences, believing she was worthless, and wanting to give up. "And then, just when I thought I could no longer take it, when I felt I couldn't even breathe, God entered my life at just the right time." Kym says, "I believe God had me experience so many different things in my lifetime, so that I could be used as His vessel to help others see that in surrendering to God, and turning our life over to Him. A Beautiful Mess becomes His Beautiful Masterpiece. I'm helping to change lives one day at a time."
