Current events and news were the topic on this edition of "Community Matters." Co hosts Bill Murray and Sandy Nazemi discussed a number of things, including items from the DHS, ICE and the White House, as well as an LA Times OPINION piece that argues rape should be considered a war crime. LA Community Policing began as Bill's reaction to 9-11 and LACP.org has since become the world's biggest grassroots effort devoted to community based policing. The web site features well over 1900 pages of articles and information and has been continuously published since early 2002.
