Lloyd was born April 12th, 1954 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Graduated from Baltimore City College High School in 1972. He entered the United States Air Force in April 1973 and served as a Security Specialist in the Weapons Systems Security section as a Staff NCO for Nuclear Weapons.He met and married his wife Audria at Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth New Hampshire in July 1974 as they both were active duty military. 

Lloyd is a musician. He started out as a singer in a small R & B group in Baltimore in the mid 60’s and early 70’s. Later years he taught himself guitar and played for ten years in his church.  He is also a published author and his books of Blain Hawk U.S. Marshal, a trilogy of a black U.S. Marshal, is now available on Amazon in Kindle format. The book was originally written by Lloyd in 1998 and is now seen a resurgent’s and is being re-launched in six languages and has recently been accepted in India. He is actively seeking executive producers to shoot a movie of his western trilogy of Blain Hawk U.S. Marshal and/or promote it for a T.V. series or cable network to raise the knowledge and awareness of Black Americans in History.

 He is currently writing two more stories; a murder drama of quintuplet girls growing up in Baltimore from the 1950’s titled “BETWEEN MY SISTERS & ME” and a Sci-Fi titled the “INTRUDER.” Both are in draft. He created and launched New Horizon Publishing Company which he owns many years ago for just such a time as now.

 Lloyd has received several awards in his career. They include; First State Achiever (Delaware) recipient, Outstanding Job Performance (Playtex), United States Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Two Air Force Commendation Medals, Good Conduct Medal, Agape award 2000. DART Transit Authority Multi-Modal Project outstanding service for 2000.
