- While in college, Torrei met Kevin Hart - a guy with a personality as large as hers. She couldn’t resist how funny he was. In fact, no one could. They grew inseparable and began building a strong bond of companionship. They shared the same passion for comedy, and aided each other in being courageous enough to drop out of college and pursue their dreams of working in entertainment. Torrei supported then boyfriend Kevin Hart at stand-up shows around the Philadelphia and New York City areas. In May of 2003, Kevin and Torrei got married and they later had two children Heaven 8 and Hendrix.
