#MyRealTalkRadio interviews America's Youngest African American Gay Married Couple to Marry in the Country: David & Tre'Darrius Anderson.

David Harris and Tre'Darrius Anderson both born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee met in July of 2010 in a direct message on Twitter. We took flight to Washington, D.C. on December 7, 2012 and applied for their marriage license at District of Columbia Marriage Bureau.

On January 17, 2013, we flew back to Washington, D.C. to obtain marriage licenses. January 18, 2013, we got legally married in front of the Lincoln Memorial in the District of Columbia by Rev. James H. Burch. Our commitment ceremony took place in Memphis, TN at the Crimes and Occasions, January 19, 2013. 

They made there first debut to television March 6, 2013 on Slice TV (Canada) hit reality series "My Teenage Wedding." The first season had twelve episodes which concluded on January 31, 2013. 

There episode "Hashtag Gay Wedding" received attention for being about same sex marriage. They were described as possibly being "America's Youngest African American Gay Married Couple to Marry in the Country."


They received the "Gentlemen's of Promise" award at the 3rd Annual Gentlemen's Ball on December 7, 2014. The ball was presented by the Gentlemen's Foundation.
