John O’Hurley returns for his ninth consecutive year as host of “The National Dog Show Presented By Purina,” airing after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thanksgiving Day, at 12:00 Award-winning actor John O’Hurley, who has become one of the entertainment industry’s most versatile players:actor, show host, advertising spokesperson, feature film star, and one of People Magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive,” has hosted NBC’s “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina” since its inception in 2002, displaying his love of dogs and his whimsical sense of humor for a total audience of some 20 million viewers each year. O’Hurley is best know as “J.Peterman” on “Seinfeld” which is the #1 syndicated television show in the world and can be seen in 85 countries. In 2004, he starred on the highly rated ABC show “Dancing with the Stars,” dancing his way into the hearts of Americans as the show’s ultimate champion and went on to star on Broadway in “Chicago,” as the male lead, “Billy Flynn.” O’Hurley hosts the Dick Clark Production of “TV’s Funniest Bloopers” on ABC, as well as the popular syndicated show “Family Feud.”
