Marketing expert and author Roger Chiocchi talks at Florida baby boomer expo—and to Mr. Media!

Roger Chiocchi, author of Baby Boomer Bust? How the Generation of Promise Turned into the Generation of Panic, is a principal in Connecticut-based Brand Loft, a seasoned group of advertising, marketing and production professionals delivering big agency talent that's responsive, accessible and cost-effective.

He began his advertising career at Young & Rubicam. While there he managed the advertising campaigns for some of America's best-known brands, including Jell-O, Birdseye, TWA, ATT, Bell Atlantic and Sears ("Softer Side of Sears" campaign considered one of the most successful retail branding campaigns in history). He went on to become President of Y&R subsidiary The Lord Group where he was responsible for the NYNEX/Bell Atlantic/Verizon account as well as The Sports Authority, HIP Health Plans, and Cayman Islands Tourism, among others.

Baby boomers are the biggest spenders in Florida, buying the lion’s share of products and services for their businesses and families. The Florida Boomer Lifestyle Conference, which will be held on April 15 in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall, is designed to help you understand how the recession has impacted this key consumer segment. You’ll learn what they’re spending money on right now, which messages resonate most with them, and what they want from businesses today.
