The Blind Side actor Ray McKinnon shares his Academy Award-winning ways!



You’ll recognize Ray McKinnon as the the character “Coach Cotton” in the Academy Award nominated (Best Picture/Actress) blockbuster The Blind Side. opposite Sandra Bullock. This year, he is also nominated for a 2010 Spirit Award for his role as “Lonzo” in the indie That Evening Sun opposite Hal Holbrook.

McKinnon won an Oscar in 2002 for writing, directing and starring in the Best Short Film The Accountant. On screen, you might also know his from his work on HBO’s Deadwood as Rev. Smith or from feature films like Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
