Comic connoisseur Thomas E. Sniegoski answers the question posed by all rag fans—what if your dad was really a superhero?

In Legacy, a dark comic-book-inspired adventure, 18-year-old Lucas finds out that his seemingly deadbeat dad actually the keeper of Seraph City—a fallen angel of a once-pristine city, now given over to crime and rot. In this fast-paced story perfect for fans of science fiction and fantasy, one regular kid will have to step up to the plate to fight for what is good and right. But he soon learns that these lines are not so easily defines.

In this action packed novel, Sniegoski explores themes about personal limits and the boundaries of good and evil. Booklist raves Legacy is, “a solid genre-blender that has appeal to superhero comics fans, suspense lovers, and even those who just want a YA problem novel with a character looking for his identity.” The carefully constructed world, engrossing adventure, and thought provoking story make this a fantastic book for both reluctant and avid teen readers.

Sniegoski is the author of the Fallen books, recently made into a TV movie for ABC Family Channel, and of the Sleeper series. He has worked on the Vampirella, Ghost, Avengelyne, and Shadowhawk series, as well as his creator-owned Dogs O’ War, and Razor: Let Us Prey. He is also the author of the Owlboy series.
