Part two of a panel discussion that links how slavery and prisons have contributed to many of the problems facing Black Families today.  The discussion will focus on much of the current research presented on this subject.  How did slavery and the prison system affect the Black Family?  Why were the systems implemented in American life?  Why have these destructive forces been allowed to exist so long in Black life?  The panel will explore these questions and others in order to suggest an approach to build a positive Black Family agenda.
