As I headed home from work this evening, I witnessed the horrific beating of a young black man who was apparently guilty of having an I-Phone. Yes, my people, this young brotha was beaten just so that his attackers ... 3 young black men, could take his IPHONE ... not to mention any money he had. The sad part about this (even sadder than the beating) was that there was a bus full of black MEN who didn't step in to handle the boys, but yelled with us, women myself included., for the boys to stop and leave him alone.
How those "children" behaved on that bus reminded me of something that we bypass everyday!!! Nowadays WE ARE AFRAID OF OUR KiDS!!!
Where did we go wrong? How do we put them on the right track? What do we do?
