Black Relationships: Is There Truely A Shortage of Good Black Men/ Black Women In America Today?

I want to cover different aspects of the problem with finding love in the black community. 1. Too many thugs. 2. Too many baby Mamas. 3. Black women are too picky. 4. Black men are only after one thing. 5. Black women are only after your wallet. 6. What is a good black woman? 7. What is a good black man? 8. Can a blue collar black man pull a quality black woman? 9. Can black educated women have a successful relationship with a good black man with no college experience? 10. How can we put a stop to the stigma that says that black women aren't good enough for black men/ vice-versa? 11. Interracial relationships: Is it the way to go when you feel that ALL black men/women have failed you? That's a lot of ground to cover, I know but I intend to help break this down so that it can be FOREVER be broken! So let's Talk About It! :) Peace and Love, MissImerica

Racism in America: Why is it Still here?

This was a hard subject to prepare for because I initially wanted to hold a random discussion on it...then I figured that this is one of the best venues to hold , somewhat of a conference (online radio style) on subject that is so taboo that lots of people wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft. pole. It's no surprise racism hasn't gone away. It's too deeply embedded in our society to just disappear. As long as people are unhappy, there will always be racism. The question is why are we stuck in the muck, Still? Why are stereotypes easier to believe than truths that debunk them about blacks and whites? Why are blacks called race-baiters when they make statements about racism? Let's Talk About It... *While this will be a no holds barred conversation, there will be no insults tolerated here. When I open up my switchboard, I will be looking for people who have RATIONAL debating skills. That means, there will be no... *racial insults : a)calling anyone a nigger b)No calling whites on the show "whitey", "Cracker" or anything else racially offensive. *And there will be no screaming above the other person while they're speaking. Any screaming will get you ejected from the conversation.

Healing the Black Community Part 1: Sex Education: Liberals vs Conservative views on the subject

Hello, People. This evening we will be discussing a subject that we already touched upon in the first week of my airing of my show; Sex Education. However, I'm going to come at it from a different perspective by asking for opinions of people who represent the most different perspectives in our country, the Democrats and the Conservatives. Conservatives tend to believe in telling children to save themselves for marriage, while Democrats tend to believe in telling their children to save themselves for marriage but present percautions in case they do what teens do all of the time, 'ignore us'. lol Call in and give me your perspective. Peace and enjoy the show, Imerica

My Interview with Playwright, Kenya Renee

It is indeed an honor to have on the show tonight, Kenya Renee, a playwright and filmmaker out of Chicago who produced the play, "The Cycle" (playing, for ONE NIGHT ONLY IN CHICAGO, @ The Museum of Science and Industry @ 3pm and 7pm). "The Cycle" is quite frankly about how most of the issues black mothers have are usually passed down to their daughters and how to come out on top despite what negativity we've been indoctrinated with. Kenya Renee is one to watch because she embodies the true spirit of what it's like to learn from our mothers' mistakes and prosper in the sight of scrutiny, stereotypes and negativity that plague black women. NOT TO MENTION the fact that she is doing the black community a huge service of bringing this topic to the forefront and presenting it in the form of art. Everyone must take heed to the message this young black woman is sending...To find out what that is..LISTEN and CALL IN to voice your opinion on the subject. Peace, Imerica
