Today's guest is new author Mary Eatmon, author of Nine Houses, a memoir.

After spending 27 years living in a dysfunctional marriage, Mary separated from her hsuband took an additional three years to gain courage to get a divorce.

Nine Houses isn't just another autobiography. It's a chronical of Mary's triumph over abuse, shame, and neglect as she journeys thorugh some of America's historical events. From the Great Depression to the Civil Rights Movement, read how Mary transitions from an ordinary housewife to a recipinet of the affirmative action court desicision, becoming one of the first seven women bus drivers in her hometown of Detroit, MI. At age 84, Mary is using her story to show people how to live a life of victory. She speaks out to help people understand, thorugh her own expereince, why victims shoose to stay in abusive situations and to dispel any cirticism for a person's choise to enter into a bad relationship.
