Dean Martin has “passed on” some years ago leaving his legacy to his daughter, Deana, a singer and performer.  At one performance Deana entered the stage as we saw a clip of her, as a teenager, with her father as she sang “Who’s Got the Action,” a song recorded by Dean.   Following the Dean thing, she would take a sip of what appeared to be a martini glass of liquor. “Ain’t It a Kick in the Head” was one of the next numbers.  Deana then spoke about her memories of being on her father’s tv show as well as part of her career.   This lead into her singing “Volare.”  Deane continued memories of the Sinatras and dedicated the song “New York State of Mind” to Tony LoBianco, one of the songs from her new album, “Swing Street” followed by “Hearing Ella Sing.”

Further memories were shared with a series of film clips of her, her mother and her father.  We then hear Dean sing “True Love” as Deane interjects her voice for an on the spot duet as we watch her growing through the years.  Via the same media we get a clip of her on her father’s tv show singing “Darn It Baby, That’s Love” with Frank Sinatra, Jr.

Deana invited three people on the stage to sing the words, “sweet, sweet, the memories you gave to me” for the song, “Memories Are Made of This.”  Deana later walked out to the audience singing “That’s Amore.”  Going up the aisles she placed the microphone in front of an audience member to sing a few words, such as “pizza bella,” my solo.  “That’s Life,” a reminder of Sinatra filled the stage.   What can stir the best memories of her and Dean then singing, “Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime?”
