Hey Black/African People, I have a message in a bottle for us today, and by the way it's a year for me here on the Initiative Radio Network and oh so proud of that! ,)  Old School here showing up today!  Always there for my brothers and sisters, always caring, always ever so understanding, always so misunderstood! ;)  But I love it!  Today we'll cover a couple of tough topics, subjects and inclinations. I don't know who'll show but that's the exciting part for me!  I love my folks and anything they can bring to my table.  Sit it on the table and we'll dive in!  I wanted to talk about Thanksmisgivings today and what it means from a black perspective.  How we are divided emotionally on whether we should feel good about joining into something that obviously was never meant for us!  Yet, we're saying happy thanksgiving all over the place to help perputate an evil long past.  The state of the black consciousness in white peoples america.  I was watching the new Carol King musical, showcased on tv this morning, and at the end of the songs they yelled, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!  On tv I saw the chorus of mixed ethnicities and wondered about my people in there.  Wondered and watched and listened and cared about my people there and their choices.  They seemed happy and talented and singing the songs that was designed to garner a creed: The true meaning of Thanksgiving, in other words, is the triumph of Capitalism over the failure of Collectivism in all its forms.  Call in to the Initiative Radio Network tonight and comment.  1-914-803-4571 at 6pm/Est or 5/Cst.
