I will talk with Kathleen Dreier about her spiritual life and professional work

What does mean to live 50 years?

Born the only girl in a family of seven in the heart of Wisconsin,

I was raised unconsciously on Catholic guilt and parental conflict.

Less than a month after graduating from college Summa Cum Laude, I leave my hometown of 10,000 for Los Angeles in my two-tone blue Escort and my robins-egg-colored eye shadow.
Within a couple months, I did everything my peers had been doing for years.
And I am alive to tell the tale.
Within a year of living in Los Angeles, working two jobs...seems I've always worked at least two jobs at a time...still do....I head to Alaska, driving the Al-Can Highway by myself.
Two weeks before I relocate, I meet and fall in love with my first abusive boyfriend.
He follows me to Alaska some months later and I finally get the wisdom to leave him after he attempts to choke me because I would not make his car payment with my credit card.
In Anchorage, I work as an Evaluator of disabled folks and an advocate for sexual assault survivors.
Complaining of physical symptoms, a friend refers me to a body worker who in reality was a gate-keeper of sorts to an esoteric school.
So some time around age 27, my world opened up to spiritual ideas that altered the course of my reality.
Through this man, I became connected with a community of people who in very practical yet magical ways were waking themselves up.
I followed them to Spain to study an ancient system called the Enneagram and there I swam with a wild dolphin in the gulf.
The courage and the fear I experienced that day with the male dolphin has stuck with me.
I owe that dolphin my life's work because he revealed it to me in the untamed water off the coast of Spain.
