"HIV/AIDS and the Black Church: We Gotta Talk!"

My people...We Gotta Talk! The Black Church has gotta start talking to the people about 'life' and the things that impact our lives and stop playing games!

African American constitute the largest proportion of HIV/AIDS cases in the USA. Eventhough Blacks make up on 13-16% of the total US population, over 50% of "reported" HIV/AIDS cases are attributed to the black community.

Even worse, black women account for more than 60% of the female population infected with the disease in the US! More then 60%! In Washington, DC, the incidence of HIV/AIDS among blacks is comparable to Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania!

Tonight on "Uncut" we are going to discuss the impact HIV/AIDS has on our community and the role the Black Church MUST play to educate and promote awareness among its citizens.  It's a matter of LIFE or DEATH!
