    Low Down and Dirty 3/24/2015

    This week on Low Down and Dirty we have a jammed packed show. First up we have Danny Serrano General Manager of the Bridgeport Speedway. Serrano handles the ‘day to day’ tasks at the race track during the week and also works close with the drivers, fans, sponsors, and employee staff on race day. Danny is going to cover all the activities leading up to Saturdays 3rd Annual 60over Special/Doug Hoffman Memorial event which will serve as the first hand in the 2015 Poker Series.


    Next we will have Ryan Smith “The Kunkletown Kid”.  Ryan has recently released the news that he will spend the first month with the All Stars before making a determination about how long he can stay on the road full time. He also has planned to fill in his schedule of approximately 60-to-65 races with local events in Pennsylvania as well as select World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series races on the East Coast. Ryan will get us up to date on this aggressive schedule.


    This week we kick the sprint car wars into high gear locally and we got one of the young lions in the area. Brent Marks from Myerstown PA already has a Top-Five finish at the Lincoln 'Icebreaker' and has big plans for the upcoming season. The 19M race team plans on being at Williams Grove this Friday night but you may be surprised what happens after that. Brent will be with us to fill in the blanks.

    We got the winners this week. From the great state of Florida we have two guys that pulled of big wins this past weekend down in the Sunshine State. First up we will have Neal “The Wheel” Williams out of Pittsgrove, NJ. Neal pulled of an impressive modified win at Volusia Speedway Park Saturday night. Holding off the best in the business in the 50 lap feature with names like Billy Pauch, Danny Johnson, Tim Fuller and Brett Hearn. Neal will have plenty to talk about. 


    Next up we will have the man that made a lot of us Pennsylvania Proud this past weekend, Mark Smith out of Sunbury PA.  Mark brought home the win in the $10,000 American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real 17th annual King of the 360’s and 14th annual Ronald Laney Memorial at East Bay Raceway Park. This normally quiet guy spoke loud with the right foot and he will be with us to talk all about it.

    TUESDAY NIGHT ON LOW DOWN AND DIRTY 10/28/2014


    LOW DOWN and DIRTY – The internet radio show that brings you DIRT racing news and results, will be at THE WING MAN in East Greenville, PA Tuesday evening. Our live broadcast will again get underway at 8:05 and finish up around 10pm.


    We had a special thing happen in PA this past weekend. One of our own young lions of 410 sprint car racing did one of the hardest things in racing. Ryan Smith entered an exclusive group of sprint car pilots in beating the World of Outlaws at their game. Saturday at Port Royal Speedway Ryan made the PA Posse proud once again and he will be joining us to tell us how this special win went down.

    On Low Down and Dirty this week it will be our preview night for the 25th Anniversary of the Linda's Speedway 270 Micro Sprints National Open. This great annual event will take place this week October 23, 24, and 25th. Michael Batz from Linda’s Speedway and small car expert Barry Angstadt will help us break it down.


    We are also fortunate to have drivers Nick Skias and Jason Swavely calling in to get us up to speed on the National Open from a drivers perspective.

    For the past eight years Bob Miller has promoted at least one race on the USAC Eastern Storm Tour as part of the Thunder On The Hill series. The JESSE HOCKETT CLASSIC at Grandview Speedway has become the kickoff event for the prestigious USAC organization .  This year’s event is on June 2nd. But before we get to that we have the Five 25’s this Sunday May 24th. Bob will be with us to get all up to date on Thunder On The Hill.  


    As we continue to gear up for the USAC Eastern Storm tour we are pleased to have one of the top stars of this series on the show. Brady Bacon from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will join us to give us what it means to come east for this annual event.

    Racing is often a family affair, and 27-year-old Chase Stockon is no exception. The Elizabethtown, Ind., native started racing quarter midgets at only five years old. Today, you can find Stockon racing at dirt tracks across the country in the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car series. Chase is currently second in national points and is looking forward to his trip East in a few weeks to defend his win in last year’s  JESSE HOCKETT CLASSIC at Grandview Speedway. Tune is as we start our preparation for USAC Wingless 410 sprint car racing the first week of June.


    When the Action Track USA in Kutztown is ready to open you know Spring is here and the hot Summer action on a Wednesday night is ready to kick off. We have columnist/announcer Barry Angstadt with us to get us ready for all the action that starts this Wednesday at the Action Track.

    On Low Down and Dirty this week we have the winner of the American Racer Cup Modified 50 at Five Mile Point, Mr Jackie Brown, Jr. Jackie brought home a $5500 payday fighting off some of the best in modified racing.


    Next up we will be talking with the “The Corporate Jet”  Mr. Brett Hearn. Three wins this weekend for Brett. He came up a bit short on his try at his seventh win of the Syracuse 200 Big-Block Modified classic. Brett will give us the whole run down of this weekends racing events.

    On Low Down and Dirty this week we have the winner of the inaugural Lincoln “Dirt Classic presented by Kasey Kahne” Mr. Stevie Smith. The standing room only crowd saw a great battle between Stevie and Lance Dewease for the coveted 1st place prize of $20,000. We will get the low down on how Stevie got the job done on Saturday night.

    Next up we will be talking with the Matt Miller as we prep for one of the biggest weekends of racing on the east coast. The Williams Grove National Open. If you don’t know who Matt is just look at the victory lane photos during the past year at Williams Grove and Matt is the big guy lifting drivers in his patented celebration style. Matt is one of the biggest sprint car fans around and will help us get the weekend all set up.

    Tuesday on Low Down and Dirty we are in preparation mode for the end of the season spectacular at The Fabulous Lincoln Speedway this Saturday, the Dirt Classic presented by Kasey Kahne.  To celebrate this event we will be talking with the voice of Lincoln Speedway Mr. Wayne Harper.


    Next up we will be talking with the very talented Rodney Westhafer who just scored his first 410 sprint car feature win at Williams Grove on 19 September. A thrill of a lifetime for any sprint car driver we will hear what Rodney thought of this great accomplishment.
