Bonnie Low-Kramen’s career for the past 25 years was as the Personal Assistant to celebrity couple Olympia Dukakis (Academy Award, Moonstruck, Steel Magnolias) and Louis Zorich (Mad About You.) She is also a co-founder and former President of New York Celebrity Assistants (NYCA), a networking and support organization for New York-based celebrity assistants. Bonnie has written the book on the subject – Be the Ultimate Assistant, A celebrity assistant’s secrets to working with any high-powered employer and has written many articles which have been published in magazines and newsletters around the world.

Committed to affecting positive change in the American workplace, Bonnie is now teaching weekend workshops for assistants in major U.S. cities. “The time is right for more structured training of Personal Assistants as the demand for broadly skilled excellent assistants is pressing and immediate in today’s workplace. Education is the key to raising the bar of professionalism.

Bonnie’s work with Olympia Dukakis included close involvement with the Academy Award win for Moonstruck, the 1988 presidential campaign of Michael Dukakis, travel around the world to places such as Sydney, London, Alaska and Prague and numerous awards shows and benefits.
