If I were to tell you that the purpose marriage is most designed to fill is not realized during the time a person is married, or in any of the places a person lives while a spouse, then what would you think?  However, the fact of this may be so obvious that I can only wonder why I've not heard anyone mention this before.

But to give a hint, consider the following:

  • The spirit is eternal, but the body is not,
  • All that the body experiences impacts the spirit,
  • A person can experience marriage only so long as he has a body
  • The impacts of marriage remain with the spirit after the body has expired

So, do you really believe God put an institution in place to last all of a person's natural life so it would have no impact on them in eternity?  Really?
